Purchasing an instrument at Belsky Strings: When you visit our store in Frankfurt, Erlangen, or Cremona, you have the opportunity to thoroughly test several instruments. If you find one you like, you can finalize a purchase contract, make payment on-site, and take your new instrument home immediately.

Appointments are available by phone or email only.

If you are unable to visit us in person but would like to try one of the instruments showcased on our website, please contact us. We are happy to provide guidance over the phone or via email. After completing the purchase contract, you can make payment via bank transfer or PayPal and receive your instrument by mail. Our 15-day return guarantee allows you to thoroughly test the instrument before making a final decision.

Discovering the character of a string instrument takes time and dedication to explore its individual traits while playing. With our 15-day return guarantee, you have the opportunity to test your new instrument in the setting where you intend to play it and perform the pieces you desire. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please inform us within 15 days of receiving your order and return the instrument in its original, clean, and orderly condition - just as you received it. This return option applies to both online purchases with shipping and purchases made directly at our location.

Please note that any modifications made to our instrument during the return period by other violin makers, yourself, or third parties, such as alterations to the bridge, strings, or soundpost, may void the return option.

Shipping, Delivery Costs, and Return

Free shipping within Germany! Professionally packed and with a return guarantee - Your satisfaction is our goal.

Shipping within Germany is free of charge for you. Your instrument will be delivered professionally packaged by us, and we recommend keeping the packaging during the 15-day return guarantee period. If you wish to return the instrument within this period, only return shipping costs will apply.

Please note that returns are only accepted via registered mail.

Pricing, Invoicing & VAT

Are the prices on your site inclusive of VAT, and will I receive an invoice?

All prices displayed on our website already include VAT. We want to ensure that our customers are transparently informed about the total costs, with no hidden fees.

You will receive an invoice from us. The VAT invoicing depends on the specific instrument. It either follows the legal requirement for VAT invoicing or uses a margin scheme according to §§ 25a to 25e of the German VAT Act (UStG), where VAT is not separately disclosed. How can I pay in-store or online?

For in-store purchases, we accept instant bank transfers and payments via PayPal. For online purchases with shipping, we offer bank transfers via invoice or payment via PayPal.
