Fine Italian Violin by Luca Maria Gallo. The body of the instrument is made of spruce from Val di Fiemme and maple from Montenegro. The top consists of two pieces with very wide annual rings, ranging from 1 mm to 3.5 mm in width at some points. The back is made of a single piece of maple (bird's eye). The body, as well as the entire instrument, is coated with an oil-based varnish in a golden-brown color. The varnish has been applied in an antique style. The instrument was built by Luca Maria Gallo in Cremona in 2006, as confirmed by the original label. The body length is 356 mm, and the mensur is 195 mm.
